A Nation Destroyed
It appears that Nation, a club I first attended in either 1998 or 1999--and then what seems like hundreds of times until it closed last year--is finally being demolished. I'll have to pull together some of my best memories at a later time, but meanwhile (no not that meanwhile) here's what I found when I walked by today after TranniLuver allerted me:

So tragic, not only because of all the history in that building (the musical adventures! the underaged drinking! the hetero-homo making out!) but because nothing has come anywhere close to replacing it yet.
Although, the latest word is that we'll have some relief by late summer...
